Initial Setup

Essential first steps to get RippleRealm working properly in your Discord server.

1. Invite the Bot

Use the bot's invite link to add it to your Discord server.

2. Grant Administrator Permissions

For the bot to function fully, it needs Administrator permissions. This is the simplest way to ensure all features work as intended.

Alternative: Create a dedicated "Admin" or "Bot" role with extensive permissions

3. Configure Role Hierarchy

In your Server Settings > Roles, ensure the bot's role is positioned near the top of the role list.

Position: Below server owner/admin roles, above all user roles

4. Verify Channel Permissions

Make sure the bot has permission to View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links in all relevant channels.

Additional: Manage Messages, Kick Members, Ban Members for moderation

Quick Start: First Steps

Core features to configure immediately after inviting the bot for maximum benefit.

Command Permissions

Control which commands are available, who can use them, and in which channels they can be used.

Configure Command Access

  1. Go to Server Settings > Integrations
  2. Find RippleRealm in the list and click Manage
  3. Select individual commands and configure their permissions
  4. Restrict commands to certain roles or channels as needed
Security Note

Restrict powerful commands (/management, /moderation, /modpanel, /log, /antispam, /censor, /automod) to trusted staff roles. These commands can significantly impact your server and should not be available to everyone.
